Rex SANSON Obituary

SANSON, Rex Lawrence. Passed away peacefully at Cardrona Rest Home, Putaruru on Wednesday, 24 September, 2025. Aged 89. Beloved partner of Pam. Proud father of Nigel, Simone, Justin, Rebecca, Leisa and Tracy. Grandad to Carl, Nicole, Cameron, Dean, Gary, Cassidy, Jourdain, Christian, Ben, Bradley, Courtney, Anthony, Taylah, Alysha and Ashton. A private family service has been held for Rex. " The gates of the farm are closed for the night, but the love and the memory shine ever so bright". All communications c/- the Sanson family to 6 Tamihana St, Matamata.

To Pam & Rex*s family my deepest sympathy in your loss.Rex was very proud of his Cedarwood Jersey Stud & rightly so he bred some of the best cows this country has known.Rex also enjoyed many success.
In the show ring.Also he had a very good eye for quality cattle that earned him many judging roles in the Jersey ring @ A&P shows around NZ.
Rex will be sorely missed among the Jersey fraternity.
