To Raema and family, It was with great sadness Ian and I read of Rex's passing. We had such happy days when we were in Hataitai Dairy l976 1980 Bookshop 1980 to 1983. He had heart problems then I can remember. Ian and I are enjoying retirement on the Kapiti Coast at Paraparaumu Beach. Roslyn and Warren both live out here also. Deepest Sympathy' Carol and Ian McDonald

Very sorry to hear the sad news Raema. We have lost another very special Shannon person. Our Shannon to Levin bus monitor has "got off the bus". A very special person I looked up to in many ways - be it horse riding, athletics - a very sincere helpful person along the way. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Our sympathy is added. We were proud to watch the funeral "on-line" yesterday, or at least part of it before we had to fly to Nelson to a conference. We are thinking of you at this time.

Raema I'm thinking of you at this difficult time. You have lost many special people in the last few years. I want to say thank you to /for Rex who gave John and I our first ever overseas holiday as a surprise - many years ago. We loved it and still have the photographs. Also - Rex was the one who had to come and give me the news of my own brother's death in 1969. Again - thank you. Kind regards - and take care. Jeannie
