ANDERSON, Rex Arthur (Andy). NZ SAS 3 Det Borneo 1966 5 June 1942 - 21 February 2026 Passed peacefully at home in Turangi surrounded by family. Lover and best friend of Lynette for 56 years. Loved and cherished Dad to Scott and Sandra. Much respected father figure to Duncan. Proud Poppa to Amber and Alida. Devoted younger brother to the late Shirley, and loving uncle to Fairy (Kaye) and the late Ross. A service to celebrate Rex's life will be held at Founders Chapel of Remembrance, 117 Rickit Street Taupo, on Wednesday 25 February at 1:30pm. A private cremation to follow. No flowers by request, in lieu donations to Lake Taupo Hospice Trust (03 0430 0296315 00) would be appreciated.
