Reuben BUCKINGHAM Memoriam

BUCKINGHAM, Reuben John. 7 November 1930 - 19 August 2022. Passed away in Sydney, Australia. Founding member and first President of the Auckland Leagues Club in late 1960's. Founding member and first President of NZ federation of Sport in 1971 International Champion for non-political interference in Sport. Business Entrepreneur, Social activist, Orator, Writer, Journalist, Intellectual. Became highly active in Australia Politics after emigrating in 1977. Deeply missed by wife Marian , children Lauri,Paula, Geoff and grandchildren Jayson and Byron. A loss that never dims.
