RICKARDS, Renee Jeanine. Born 3 October 1938, passed away 25 October 2025, peacefully and with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Adrian. Loving mother and mother-in-law to Mike and Inge, Chris and Fiona, Graham and Kim, Oma to Max and Tim. A wonderful cornerstone of our family. A service to celebrate Renée's life will be held at the Chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 39 Riverside Road, Orewa on Saturday 1 November at 1100am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Centre for Brain Research, Huntington's Disease Research, University of Auckland, Private Bag 92019, Auckland. I offer you all deep and prayerful sympathy on the death of Renee, a wonderful woman, a dear colleague and friend. I felt privileged to have known her. She and Adrian enriched my life with their warm hospitality and genuine friendship. May she rest in love Sr Francine McGovern

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I hold many special memories of Renee and Adrian from my early years in Orewa and the Gerlach grandparents. You were all such a welcoming family. May you find strength and comfort in the love and support of friends at this time. Together in life, reunited in heaven may they rest in eternal peace. I regret I cannot be with you in person on Friday, Michael(Parish Priest 1993-97)
