Reginald WATSON Obituary

WATSON, Reginald Harrison (Reg). On 16 August 2012 in Waitakere Hospital, after a short illness. Devoted husband of 60 years to Audrey. Wonderful father and father- in-law to Bryan, Graeme and Glenda and Delwyn. Loved Grandfather of Joel, Miriam, Deborah and Luke, Lindsey, Rebekah, Hannah (deceased), Adam and Sarah and Great- Grandfather to Amanda, Ella and Lilly. The service will be held at Henderson Baptist Church, 319 Great North Road, Henderson on Wednesday 22 August at 2pm. And when you draw close to God, God will draw close to you. James 4:8.

Dear Audrey and family,
Ruth and I were so sorry to learn that Reg had passed on. The last time I spoke with him was when he phoned 5 months ago when Mum passed away.
We are in Australia currently for some time so are somewhat out of the loop. Otherwise we would have been privileged to attend Reg's funeral.
Reg was a man I held in the highest regard. Honesty and enthusiasm are 2 adjectives that fit perfectly with Reg, amongst many other positives I could list.
He always set a wonderful Christian example to us all at Reynolds.
Although it is many years since I saw Reg, he has a special place in my heart. I am very saddened to hear he is not with us any longer, but we know that a whole new dimension has opened up for him.
