Reginald Parker Obituary

PARKER, Reginald Leonard (Reg). On Saturday 12 February Reg, aged 81, passed away peacefully at home in Thames, surrounded by his family. Much loved husband of Vi, loved father and father-in-law of Maxine and the late Willy Kaka, Sharon and Paul Preston, Debbie and Ian Woodfield, Jo Parker-Smith and also Warren Smith. Adored grandfather and advisor of Logan and Cydel, Te Ra, Jason and Evelyn, Adam and Ro, Cloe, Emily and Monica. Great-grandfather of Grayson, Trinity and Niko. Grateful thanks to the District Nurses. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotary Polio Plus Programme can be made at the church. A celebration of Reg's life will be held at St. James Union Parish, Pollen St, Thames on Wednesday 16 February 2011 at 1.00pm. Followed by interment at Totara Cemetery Thames.

PARKER, Reg. Dearly loved and treasured brother and brother-in-law of Daphne and late Tom Ussher, loved uncle of Maureen and Tony, Malcolm and Kerry, and Carol. A loving and helpful man sleeping peacefully. God bless and keep catching those fish Reg.
