DAWSON, Reginald (Barbary Bill). 02 September 1942 to 03 September 2024 Passed away in Taupo after a long fight to the end. Loving husband of Marilyn. Dearly loved father of Sonia, Reg and Michelle. Much adored grandfather of Natasha, Brooke, Ashton and Severne. GG of Eli. At Bill's request, a private cremation has been held. Grateful thanks to Lake Taupo Hospice. Our sincere condolences to Marilyn and family from us all at Taupo Ski Club.
We have some wonderful memories of Bill at the ski club helping out with workparties and participating in club champs. When he could no longer race he caught the Gondola up and then walked up to race course - which is no mean feat. He also had many stories to tell and kept us well entertained. We will miss Bill at the club in his bright yellow ski suit. Photo - Bill in his yellow ski suit at the top of the race course.

Sincere Condolences to Marilyn and Family . Thoughts are with you all right now. Dave and I have happy memories of going out many moons ago on his Boat. More recently I often bumped in to him whilst out shopping.
