AVIES, Rees George (George). On 19 September 2025, passed away with grace and courage, aged 80 years. Dearly loved father of Yvette, Rhys, Corina, and Jacinda. Much loved Grandfather of Steffan, Mikal, Liam, Natasha, Isaiah, Uriah, Rafe, Malakai, Azriel, Connor, Dylan, and William. Much loved Great Grandfather of Peyton, Indiana, Eli, Kal, Lincoln, Luna, Delilah, Addison, Lilly, and Robbie. In lieu of flowers a donation to any Hospice (https://www. hospice.org.nz/donate) would be appreciated. Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Whangarei Hospital. You are all amazing. "To the world you were but one, but to us you were the world. We love you". A service for George will be held at the St Andrews Anglican Church Cambridge, 85 Hamilton Road, Cambridge at 1:00pm on Tuesday 30th September 2025 followed by a private cremation.
