OLENIUS, Raymond Joseph (Ray). After a short illness passed away 8th December 2022. Precious brother of Raewyn. Will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ray, a bloody Legend on the racetrack in his OHV V8 repowered 32 Ford B 4 Coupe. Left hand on the wheel, right elbow out the open driver's window hanging on, at opposite lock up and over the "Hill" at Pukekohe in the 1960's. THAT was REAL motor racing and which I later copied on the Whangarata metal roads. Oops. Great memories thanks Ray. Kindest - Brian Walker.
