OUR DAD

So sorry to see you depart from your Journey of life with what balance of your family Left. Rest in peace dad give mum a big hug .

I´m going to miss you so much

You were such An inspiring and very knowledgeable dad , you taught me everything I know from riding a bike to working on motor bikes, teaching me to make a Sawhorse teaching me how to work on cars and to even how to tune a car so it runs correctly and then along came building, `WELL´ this is when life gets interesting, up in the early hours of the mornings you making porridge and off we went to get to work by 6:00 am in the morning, Goodness it was cold sometimes. Me at 10 years old going to work with you as a little fella and you explaining to me how to build a house, so I went to work after my first lesson. I tried to bang a 90mm nail into a piece of timber with my own hammer you brought me and I slipped off the nail and hit my thumb, OJesus Christ what have you done now you shouted out at me with great concern lol. This was one of your favourite sayings this is one of the ways you communicated to me, understandably worried about my thumb , obviously this was the wrong thing to do.

We are going to miss you so much, who am I going to have a coffee with and talk about things you need done around the house which I must say there was always a long list. Then the questions about things I am still needed help with, like making a set of stairs and sharpening my tools like razorblades, something I never really seem to pick up from you. You just had some Secret way to always make your tools as sharp as razorblades .

Something really funny that always makes me laugh is when you went up to the Diary in your car To buy a couple of things then coming out and opening the car door and sitting in the drivers seat with you then looking to the left seeing a lady sitting in the passenger side of the car and you asking her what is she doing in your car she replied you are in my car you have hopped into the wrong car lol, funny enough the cars were very similar and the same colour. Oh Jesus Dad replied I am very sorry, dad then got out of the car smiling way and got into his own vehicle. This was hilarious .

Another funny story is when I was a young boy about eight years old and mum and dad brought me a mini bike, however this mini bike started giving me a little bit of trouble so Dad and I started working on it, Dad showed me how to remove the carburettor and reinstall it, so I thought I would give dad a hand on the last assemble which was reinstalling the carburettor needle , not knowing I had actually put this back incorrectly and screwed it up tight not knowing this was sitting in full throttle position . Dad said well done son let´s start the motorbike and see if it works . This was a pull start . RIGHT said dad, stand back and let´s start it "WELL" it started all right first pop Jesus Christ YELLED dad, as the motorbike reared in the air on one wheel, dad was now wrestling with the motorbike trying to hold the motorbike and to try and hit the Killswitch it was quite fun to watch where I was standing but the expressions on dad`s face was just priceless .
