Ray was my brother, he was 18 months older than me, We had 2 other brothers and a sister, they were quite a bit older, so mum didnt want Ray to grow up on his own, so I was made to be his mate... we had a pretty good childhood, having the older siblings we were a bit spoilt, especially our big sister , on her pay days she would always buy Ray and I something, she was a good sister.
Ray was a larrikin every one loved him always playing a practical joke, one never knew when to take him serious... Ray always looked out for me, we use to go to a lot of DOs Ray and our other two brothers were great hunters so there were a lot of deer stalkers DOs Ray was also great at fishing foot ball and other sports he was always doing something loved the out doors
All in all he was a pretty good bloke called a spade a spade
