Raymond GOWER Obituary

GOWER, Raymond John (Ray). Passed away peacefully at CHT Bernadette Care Home, Mount Maunganui on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Husband of Yvonne. Dad of Garin, and Julie. In accordance with Ray's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

In late teens I played in a band with Ray in Masterton. Ray worked in a local bank and got involved in the 1st Masterton Boys´ Brigade Coy. We were good friends and caught up again much later in life.

I worked with Ray in The National Bank New Plymouth branch in the mid 70's. Great guy and always the life and soul of a party. We stayed in touch over the years and he visited us on the Kapiti Coast several times after we had retired. RIP my old mate.
