HARDGRAVE, Ray Nelson. Passed away suddenly Wellington - 14 July 2021. Loving husband for 51yrs to Shirley (nee Hocking) and irreplaceable Dad to Fran and Hayden. Silly Poppa to Jack, Makai and Medea - "love you spudguns". Wise 'father' to Adam Costar, Lalainya Hayward and Marc Soper. Son of the late Jack and Elma, Wgtn. Loved brother of Susan Wishart, Ron and Val. Cool Uncle to Wayne, Andrew, Wheldon, Ellen and families. Treasured son-in-law to 'Mum' Elsie Blackmoore. Respected brother-in-law and uncle to the Hocking and Blackmoore families. A great mate, a man of true skill, your big laugh still heard by many. The brightest 'Ray' cannot be extinguished, in our hearts forever. Join us for one last drink with Ray in his workshop, Production Panel, corner Norton Rd & Goodfellow Pl, Hamilton - 14th August, 2pm. 07- 8493784.

Condolances to Shirley, Hayden and Fran and famlies. Such a tragic loss of a great knowledgeble guy. I fondly remember those nights down at Production Panel drinking to all hours. Such good times. Ironic hadnt seen him for so long then bumped into him at countdown Terapa only a few months ago. Sorry couldnt make it on the day to catch up and tell a few tales.
