Ray GRBIN Obituary

Grbin, Raymond Peter, passed away on 22nd February 2026. A beloved nephew of the late Richard and Louise Lavas, and respected cousin of John Lavas, Karen Vodanovich (née Lavas), and the late John Vodanovich and family. Ray was always there for his relatives with a helping hand and a smile, and was taken from us far too early. Our deepest condolences go to Maree and the family, and to Ivan and Maria and their families. Pocivao u miru.

50 plus years of friendship filled with laughter and fun with the Grbin clan. Ray always had a ready smile, friendly manner and was the master of the humorous quip. His enjoyment of people, all sport, shared experiences, and especially his family made him a special person. We consider ourselves lucky to have been part of some of these memories. I have fond memories of working with Ray at Fisher & Paykel. He was a very lovely person and fun to be round. Rest in peace Ray. My sincere condolences to the family.
