My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Parents of childhood friends always seem to be such a presence when you are young. I have fond memories of my time with Kim in your house when we were young. Lots of love xx

In 1961 Randall and I would catch a DC-3 from Eyre peninsula, South Australia to return to an Adelaide co-ed boarding school. His 100 yards Sports Day record for U/19 Boys [1964: 10.6secs] still stands! Growing up in a marginal rainfall area in SA taught him to always switch off 'dripping taps' even in lush NZ! My heart and thoughts are with you all in also remembering a truly special person who meant so much to so many in so many fields. A unique good friend. Margaret Koch, Nuriootpa South Australia

My deepest sympathy to you Hanneke and to your family on the recent passing of Randall.
My memories of Randall began at 170 Meadowbank Rd, when I joined the lads at this incredible flat and continued when I got married and Randall provided ENT services to our two young children. Randall also provided ENT service and advice to my late mother. Although I moved from Auckland to Wellington, our family held Randall in high regard. He will be sorely missed.
Unfortunately, Ann and I will not be able to be at the Service on Friday, but our thoughts and love will be with you and your family.
