SILVESTER, Ralph Edgar. Ralph (95) passed away peacefully and suddenly at home in Warkworth on July 10, 2011. Much loved husband and companion of Connie for 34 years. Loved husband of the late Jean, and loved father of Suzanne, Michele, and Yvonne. Respected father-in-law of David Cope and Ian Cobb. Loved Grand-pere of Ruth, Miles, Stephen, Matthew, Logan, Andrew, and Louis. Loved father-in-law of Jared, Katie, Stephanie, and Sarena. Great Grand-pere of Rebekah, James, and Lance, and of two yet unborn. Stepfather of Susan (deceased), Lawrie, Maggie, Shirley, Lesley, and Chris. Stepfather-in-law of Graham, Terence, Alan, and Jeremy. Grand-pere to Craig, Liam, Kirstyn, Joe, Zoe, Dexter, Cora, and Bella. Great Grand-pere to Tyler-Jane, Rhiannon, James, Storm, Isaiah, Sophia and Fiona, Ashmina and Velt. Patriarch of the families of the late Jean, and Connie. A man who loved all the beautiful things of Nature and worked to preserve them. A Frenchman who became a fair-dinkum Kiwi. A celebration of Ralph's life will be held at the Ablaze Christian Church, 44 Whitaker Road, Warkworth (next to Mobil Service Station), on Friday, 15 July 2011 at 11:00am followed by a private cremation.
