Just came across this and was shocked to discover Ralph's passing. I worked with Ralph at Tauranga Council and he was a great problem solver and always had a well thought out measured response to complex engineering issues. A lovely person.

Rest in peace

I had the privilege to be a colleague of Ralph's for a number of years. Such an inspiring and encouraging person to work under and with. A friend to all. I was also inspired by his example as a Godly family man and his genuine interest in people. You set a great bench mark for us to follow. Sharon (my wife)and I were just chatting about you and your great demeanour and generous words yesterday. Sadly I only hear the news today from another colleague. You will be very much missed by your family , friends including me and the Tauranga Engineering community. The joy that comes is the certainty that we will meet again when Yeshua-Jesus the Messiah returns for those who honour Him. Shalom Aleichem

Ralph was a good sincere friend. Although I moved to Australia we kept in touch. Ralph always encouraged me to seek Jesus first in life and he was an expression of this. Ralph loved his family beyond measure. He had such a kind gentle manner. Ralph will always be etched in my heart and sadly missed.

I was very sad to hear today the news of the passing of Ralph. We were in the same class together at primary school. I will always remember him as the cheerful friend he was at school.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
