Ralph CAULTON Obituary

CAULTON, Ralph Walter. Passed peacefully at Earnest Rutherford Retirement Village on 9 June 2024 comforted by family, aged 87. Much loved wife to Denise of 62 years. Loved dad and father-in-law to Kim and Colin, Mark and Karen and Susan and Paul. Loved granddad to eight grandchildren: Jamie, Matthew, Nicholas, Thomas, Grace, Laura, William and Hannah. Enjoyed our friendly engaging conversations, reminiscing over his playing and coaching days whilst meeting at the Tea And Biscuits in Pakuranga. A very fine rugby player emerging in that thrilling Second Test in Wellington, 1959.

Sending my condolences to the Caulton family.
Great memories of Ralph when he was Coach of the New Zealand under 17 Rugby teams when my Dad was the Manager. So many great times, of the teams he coached and many of the guys went on to be All Blacks.
