Raja RAM Obituary

RAM, Raja. Of Karori, Wellington (formerly of Suva, Fiji), passed away peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday 11 July 2018, aged 77 years, at Wellington Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Prema (nee Bidesi) of 45 years. Loved and cherished Dad and father-in- law to Rādhikā & Ron (Sydney), and Ranita & Nikil (Melbourne). Very Special Nana (Grandfather) to his 3 grandchildren, Jahnava, Bhishan & Rania. Survived by his brothers Paras Ram, Tota Ram, and Tulsi Ram of Melbourne, Australia. A service will be held at the Karori Main Crematorium Chapel, Rosehaugh Avenue, Karori, Wellington, on Saturday 14 July 2018 at 1pm, followed by a private cremation. A period of mourning will be observed for the subsequent thirteen days at the home of Raja and Prema Ram, in accordance with the Hindu tradition, which all family and friends are invited to attend.A special thanks to the caring staff at Ward 7 North and the ICU team of Wellington Regional Hospital.
