Thank you for all the times you sacrificed your time and energy for my family and I. You have such a beautiful heart and it will be remembered for years to come. I still cannot believe that it was just around a month ago that we were discussing plans for next year. Even in your fragile state you continued to care for others more than yourself. Raewyn my sister, Its been many many years since we have seen each other, but thru the family I have kept trace of you, Steven and your whanau.I remember in your young days playing netball for St Annes, your Mum the coach and Margaret, Anne, and Robyn all playing as well. But to me you were the most fiesty, gutsy, and never said die. I loved watching you all play and for many years became a hardened supporter. GREVATT, Raewyn. I don't know when your death will hit me. It just won't process right now. I know it will come in the dark hours in the coming weeks, long after the kids are in bed and the night brings silence. That's when missing you will be hard to bear. Yesterday I found myself about to push your mobile number to talk to you about Grace's baby - in a heartbeat I realized you were never going to be at the end of your phone any more. Never returning a text. Never returning our emails. Never hearing your giggle. And never standing out of your way when you got mad - you very rarely did, but when you did, we all stood aside as that red hair got going - you always did have the over portion of Irish genes. And your children. What a credit to you and Steve. Perhaps that is where we will meet you again Raewyn, in the eyes and laughter of your children. I hope so. I just need you to know how proud I am of you - never said, but so always felt. And how much you are loved - never said enough. Never said enough.
