In memory of my Sister Rae, Who was always there for me. I will never forget you! And you will always be with me, your loving sister Carol.

We were just young kids when Rae came to live at Hunua Road, Papakura. Mrs Ellis (then) welcomed us into her life. We would play with Sheryl and Lynette, talk with their mum and play in her jewellery, high heel shoes and scarves. As time passed she moved on and became Rae Herdson. Lance was born and Rae was so 'in love' with this little man. Rae was an amazing friend to our mum and they spent many hours together knitting, sewing or just keeping each other company when down talking about families.So much love and support to each other which will never be forgotten by us 'Cossey' kids. We were always so welcome at Takanini, greeted with a smile and hug. These memories will last forever. Was so happy to hear yesterday that Rae had the full family love, warmth and support to the end. If roses grow in heaven. If roses grow in heaven lord please pick a bunch for me . Place them in my Raeford Beverly arms and tell her they from me .Tell her I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss on her cheek and hold her for a while, because remembering her is easy, I do it every day. Love an miss you for ever mum, I will always hear your words of advice an follow them. You don't have to worry about us anymore, you enjoy you self catching up with everyone you missed up there. We will look out for one another, an follow what you wanted, what keeps me going is knowing you are all around us looking over x
