The world lost a truly beautiful soul with the unexpected passing of my beautiful friend/sister/couisin when you left us. Words don't begin to express my deep sadness and realisation that you are no longer with us. I'm so honored and grateful for having grown up with you and have been reflecting on all the great memories of our childhood, from the family camping trips, the shop/bar service games for the parents, to the marshmallow incident and the life lesson of if you are going to fall asleep on a lilo in the height of summer in a pool that sunscreen is recommended, to the memories we have made as adults including Friday night dinners, watching Wicked together a few weeks ago, to the amazing birthday cakes you made for us all over the years, especially the one you did for my 40th birthday and who can forget the challenge Aaron set you for a combination chocolate cake and trifle for one of his cakes which you not only accepted the challenge but pulled it off with an amazing creation.
Thank you for being a part of my life and I know that you are looking down on us all as when I look up into the sky you will be the brightest star.
Rest easy my beautiful friend.
Will love and miss you always

Rachel was my nanny for the first 5 years of my life, and made a deep and lasting impression on me, which kept us in touch all these years. She raised me, in a way. Rachel was one of the warmest, most loving and kind people I´ve ever known. I attest so much of my personality and interests, especially in music to her. She shaped my sister Holly and I so much, always burning CDs for us. We would sing loudly in her car and dance around the house. When I was little she´d sit next to my bed while I fell asleep for my afternoon nap. I love her dearly, and to me she was family. I feel blessed to have received her warmth and support over all these years, and can only imagine the love and joy and warmth her wonderful family and soul mate Radon felt every day. Her presence, joy and love will be lasting and forever. My love goes out to her beautiful family and her person Radon. I´ll never forget your magical wedding day. Two such special souls.
Love,
Sophie Vincent xx

Rachel was so kind and positive, so gracious and humble.
She was our nanny for 5 plus years in 1999, my two daughters Holly and Sophie loved her very much.
We have wonderful memories and will hold them in a very special place in our hearts. Rachel you were very precious to us all. We think about you often and always will with much love.

I am heartbroken to not only have I lost a dear friend, but also a sister and cousin in every sense of the word. Rachel Mailau was a light, always there with a smile, a kind word, and a listening ear.
We shared countless memories that I will cherish forever- including singing and dancing down the street after watching Footloose at the movies in the 80´s without our parents knowing, loads of amazing camping trips and road trips, laughter, adventures, and even the quiet moments that meant so much.
Rachel´s spirit was infectious, and her love for life inspired everyone around her. I will forever be grateful for the bond we shared, and I find comfort in knowing that her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
As I navigate this immense loss, I will carry her spirit and love with me always. Rest in peace, my beautiful friend. You will be deeply missed but forever cherished in my heart.
My heart goes out to Radon, Marie, Wayne and Craig for the loss of a wife, daughter, sister, and friend
