Phyllis LUKE Obituary

LUKE, Phyllis Flora On 24th November 2013, peacefully at her daughter's residence, Whangarei (formerly of Wellsford). Dearly loved wife of the late William (Bill). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Geraldine and John, and Rosalind. Loved Gran of Dougal and Cath, Nicola and Quentin, Gareth and Rebekah. Special great-Gran of Cooper and Lachie; Liam and Jake. A service to celebrate Phyllis' life will be held at the Wellsford Co-operating Church, 253 Rodney Street (SH1), 1:30pm, Saturday, 30th November 2013, followed by interment at Wellsford Cemetery, 80 School Road, Wellsford. Our special thanks to Shirley for her outstanding care of our Mum over the past few months. All communications to 'The Luke Family', PO Box 47, Wellsford 0940.

The passing go Mrs Luke bought many memories rushing in. Visiting the house down the drive after school for yummy afternoon tea. Brownie and Guides such fun with so much patience by Mrs Luke. A fabulous community spirited person. Wellsford was lucky to have her input. Love and sympathy to Geraldine and Rosalind and families. xx
