Phyllis FORT Obituary

FORT, Phyllis (formerly MacKenzie) (nee Peate). Passed away peacefully on 18th August 2025, at Evelyn Page Retirement Home, aged 92. Loved wife of the late Richard Fort, and loved former wife of the late Ian MacKenzie. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Grant and Lorraine, Anne and Tony, and Cherry. Dearly loved grandmother of Glenn and Amanda, Brooke and Hayden, Michael and Kristyn, Brendan and Hannah, Kristen, Sally and Alistair, Rhys and Sarah and great grandmother to Arlo, Tilly, Lincoln, Amelia, Otis, Juniper, and Reuben. Such a wonderful, caring, and loving Mum, Grandma and Great Grandma. Dear friend of Martha, and all the Fort family. Our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff at Evelyn Page, Orewa for your loving care of Phyllis. Phyl will be sadly missed, but remains forever in our hearts. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Phyllis will be held at besoul Funerals, 12 Gumfield Drive, Warkworth on Monday 1st September 2025 at 11.00am.
