Philippa ZINK Obituary

ZINK, Philippa Christine (née Hepburn). Philippa passed away on Monday 19 January 2026 at North Shore Hospital. She will be reunited with her late husband, Guy. Pip is survived by her children Alesha-Rose and Karlan; daughter-in-law Liz; grandchildren Guy (6) and Alec (4); her sister Barbara; and son-in-law Bradley. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2.30pm on Thursday 29 January 2026 at the North Harbour Chapel, Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany. A livestream of the service will be available at https://share.funeral.stream/YHH8Q. Please feel free to share any tributes and stories of Philippa at this link. Pip lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed from all four corners of the world. No flowers please. If you would like to make a donation in her name (Philippa Zink), she requested contributions to the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research or to St John.

Pip was an extraordinary person who made life warmer and richer.
I feel incredibly lucky to have had her as part of my life, and I am devastated by her passing.
She found joy in both the ordinary and the meaningful.
We shared gatherings with friends, sunflower picking, volunteering together, sleepovers, and birthdays were always celebrated with gin, cake, and laughter.
Pip was a wonderful friend - her life was marked by connection, kindness, thinking of others and a genuine love of living.
I am grateful beyond words to have known her.
