I have only just learnt of Kiwi´s untimely passing. I will treasure memories of time in his company during flying training with the Royal Air Force - his laughter, his wicked sense of humour and his inability to refuse a dare. He was a truly larger than life character and will be missed by many. My condolences to Millie and the family.

We slipped the surly bonds of earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward we climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds....
