Philip NEWMAN Obituary

NEWMAN, Philip Alfred. 24th August 1937 - 25th December 2025 Passed away on Christmas Day after a brief illness, aged 88. Beloved husband of Jean. Much-loved father and father- in-law of Denise and Carol, John and Kristie, and Andy (deceased). Cherished grandfather of Jiorgia, Alex, Camryn, Caryse, and Luca. Philip will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service to celebrate Philip's life will be held on Monday, 26 January 2026 at 11.00am, at Simplicity Funeral Services, 449 Te Rapa Road, Hamilton. Dear Mrs Newman, Denise, John and families,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Mr. Newman from our years in the King Country as friends and neighbours. Dad talks so highly of Philip, and tells very funny stories of some of their antics.
My thoughts are with you at this time.
