Peter : someone who has been both a privilege and a pleasure to work with, someone who brought experience and diplomacy to the table where it was absent. You will be sadly missed by everyone. I shall miss all the coffee meeting s and stories. You fought well in your private battle with illness and I had hopes you might prove all the experts wrong. My thoughts go out to all your family for the sad times ahead.

WALKER, Peter Douglas (Peter) Passed away on 10-10-2013. Dearest Pedro, we will always look back on our time together with love and gratitude. WALKER, Peter. The Board and staff of Waterfront Auckland would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Peter. He shared the passion and vision for the Auckland waterfront, the classic boats and was highly respected within the marine industry. Our thoughts are with his daughter Frith, our waterfront placemaker. Peter loved the Waitemata and was a steady hand on the tiller. He will be missed down here. Sir Bob Harvey, Chairman, John Dalzell, Chief Executive, and the team at Waterfront Auckland.
