VAN BEEK, Peter Jan. On 4th August, 2018 passed away peacefully after a long illness at North Shore Hospital, aged 58 years. Much loved husband of Carol, loved dad of Jamie and Sheldon, and granddad to Ollie, Jasper and Peyton. "Beam Me Up Scotty." A celebration of Peter's life will be held in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson on Wednesday, 8th August, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society of NZ, P O Box 1724, Shortland Strret, Auckland 1140. All communications to the van Beek family C/- the above Funeral Home.

Sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Peter.
While he was a couple of years younger than me, I knew him from when he was just a wee lad as we grew up on Harrington Road.
