Peter SUMMERS Obituary
SUMMERS, Peter George Herbert, FRCS Ed DA. Peacefully at his home in Kerikeri on Wednesday 16 September 2020. Aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Primrose. In his long and interesting medical career, the Island of St. Helena, remains his most rewarding time. In accordance with Peter's wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

I was saddened to learn of Peter's death. I remember him fondly from working with him on St Helena. As senior medical officer he was my boss when I was senior environmental health officer. He was always supportive and took a great interest in my work. He was generous, witty and good company. Although it is many years since we last met for a meal in London, I will always remember him.
