Peter SIMON Obituary

SIMON, Peter France (the Hon). A star of our show, peacefully on 8 April 2023. Beloved and loving: son of the late Stewart and Margaret France; husband of Ellen; brother and brother-in-law of Mark and Sandra, Julie and Bernie, Jeremy and Mary, Cecilia and Gary, and the late Laural; "Uncle Si" to the cousins; and (long-standing) member of Larkin whanau. Thanks to the staff at Wellington Hospital and the Bowen Icon Cancer Centre for their care of Simon. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be done online at www.wfa.org.nz. Messages to the France family may be left in Simon's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241. Simon's Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Teresa, 301 Karori Road, Karori on Thursday 13 April at 11:00 am, thereafter a private cremation. The Rosary will be recited in church on Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm for 5:30 pm.
