We have known Peter since 1977 and have stayed close friends during our time in AKL and later on seen each other on so many visits in NZ or Switzerland. Peter we love you and will miss you.

One of a group of old pilots who dine together annually, just to natter and talk about flying and anything else our collective minds embrace, Peter was always genial, well-informed, positive and supportive; altogether an excellent mate. My thanks to Nick Maylor for bringing us together. R.I.P. Peter.

We go back a long way. Peter was always fun to be with, always jovial, and we made a point of catching up every time I returned to Auckland for a visit.

Peter's company will be missed.

Our condolences to Liam and Annalise.

Fly high, Peter.

Dear Yvonne, Annalise and Liam,

We are so saddened to learn that Peter has passed away. As a childhood friend, we shared many memories together from Poland, Israel, and Canada dating back all the way to the 1950s. Last year, when we met in Toronto, we had such a great time together; we celebrated the visit by singing and dancing at a Toronto Restaurant Club. Peter's surprise attendance at our daughter's wedding in Arizona, in February 2016, will be always remembered as such a wonderful gesture. Peter was always full of life and laughter and he enlightened everyone he met. He will always be remembered as a family man, a loving and happy person, and a wonderful and dedicated friend. Our deepest sympathy. May you know no more sorrow!

With love, Gloria and Yacov Gordon. Roni and Syndie Gordon, Michal and Mike Jutan.

Dear Peter

You told me about your cancer. We had a loose but constant and good contact.
We met years ago in an aeroplane and our friendship grew and kept on.
You visited me several times in Zurich with Yvonne, with your son, alone, with a new friend. We really liked eachother.
I just wrote to you to wish you happy birthday and to send you a big hug.
And now, you are not with us anymore.
That makes me sad, but still: Here is my big hug to you, dear friend of so many years.

Love, Esther

Dear Annalise and Liam, I am so saddened to learn of the death of your dad. We were great friends at University in the early 70s. You may not remember but your family visited us in Glendowie when you were in primary school. Deepest sympathy to you both. With love, Judy Jarvie xxx

We first met about 50 years ago by chance, and have kept in touch ever since. I have never forgotten your generosity to my brother after he lost everything in a house fire about 40 years ago.
I will very much miss your enthusiasm, kindness and intelligence.
My deepest sympathies to Liam and Annalise
