Dear Maria and Family of Peter,I am very sorry to have just heard or seen on the Internet that Peter died last year from cancer.Maria you may remember me from when I was a medical student with Peter at Auckland Uni.I do hope you all have drawn close to our saviour at this time as I believe Peter had a strong faith in Jesus and as He said " those that believe in me shall never die" I very much look forward to seeing therefore Peter in heaven and maybe one day hopefully may see you Maria and your ..wow seven children. We really got to know Peter when my daughter became unwell...over the years he was generous with his time, his smile and his sense of humour. I was deeply saddened to learn of Peter's passing. He and I played basketball at high school (on opposing teams) and reconnected a few years ago on public health issues. I send my sympathies from across the years to the family of a kind and courageous gentleman.
