Peter RAMSEY Obituary

RAMSEY, Peter Alexander (Peter). Born 9 October 1946. Passed away on 21 December 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Gael, father and father-in-law of Rachel and Steve, Richard and Karen, Stephen and Debby, Andy and Sarah and grandchildren Josh and wife Rebecca, Aaran, Ryan, Olivia, Cate and William. Rest in peace.

We are deeply saddened by Peter's passing. My family's bond with his family, dates back to the days before WWII, when Peter's father, Harry, trained as a pilot with my dad in the RNZAF. We also cherish the memories of his mother, Mildrid, in the post-war years who was a war bride like my mother and both from England. Peter, being the last of Harry and Mildrid's children, held a special place in our hearts as he was our living connection to our family.
