Jill and Tony Hooks
June 29, 2022
The Hooks family (Jill, Tony, Andrew and Darren) are very sad to hear that Peter has passed away but we know he will be resting in the arms of the Lord. Peter was a wonderful mentor for Andrew and Darren when they were young members of Northcote Baptist Church. He invited them to join him running with the Baptist Harriers group and they did that for several years. When Darren was married in 2007 he asked Peter to be the celebrant, an indication of the high regard our family had for Peter. We send our sympathy to Peter's family.

Rachel and i are very sad to hear of Peter's passing. When we first joined Albany Baptist Peter and Gwenyth invited us and our 2 x young boys to their place for lunch. Such warm, kind and caring people. Peter and Gwenyth were so good interacting with our boys not only then but the entire time we were at Albany Baptist. It's good to know that Peter is now with the Lord and with Gwenyth.

It is with sadness that I heard the recent news of both your parents deaths this year.
It is with extreme gratitude that I reflect on their ministry and the foundation that was set for my personal faith in Christ, at Whangaparoa Baptist and under their leadership. It is where I gave my heart to the Lord and was baptised.
It is with fondness that I remember my childhood friendship with Nicky and how welcome I always was in your family home.
It is with such respect that I remember both your parents. Both such good and faithful servants of our Heavenly Father. Now reunited with each other and rejoicing together in their eternal home.
Thinking of you all at this time of loss. With love, Ann

Dear Peter. When we last saw you a few months ago, you said your next home move was 'up, and pointed to Heaven. You are in your final home, with Gwenyth. Thank you for your special friendship to our family, and for getting me horse riding again. Lots of love, Tony, Lindsay, Chris, Caitlin and Amy

PRITCHARD, Reverend Peter. Much loved and appreciated brother-in-law of Linton and Annabell Conway, and uncle of Scott and Desley, Nick and Heidi, and Jennie and Rodney Greenfield. Baptist pastor, chaplain, generous friend, and respected servant of the Lord. Now at rest and reunited with his dear Gwenyth. In God's presence is fullness of joy.
