My sister and I were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Peter O´Brien. Peter was a name we grew up with, a constant and reassuring presence in our life. He was much more than a financial advisor to my parents; he was a trusted friend, a wise counselor, and a steadfast support in times of need. Peter meticulously guided my parents through numerous financial decisions, always with patience, diligence, and an unwavering commitment to their well-being. His expertise brought not only financial stability to our family but also peace of mind, knowing that we were in such capable and caring hands. Beyond his professional prowess, Peter's kindness and integrity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. It's not often one encounters someone so genuinely dedicated to helping others, and Peter embodied this spirit wholeheartedly. Though he will no longer be with us, the lessons he shared, and the legacy of his hard work will live on. My family and I will cherish the memories of his unending patience, his warm smile, and his heartfelt advice. To Peter´s family, please accept my deepest condolences. Shaun and Anita Killeen

A wonderful and dedicated citizen. Generous with his time and huge contributor to his parish and community. Always admired his political activity. Prayers and thoughts are with Eva and family
Requiem
They say "the lighthouse-keeper´s world is round -
The only lighthouse keeper that I know
Inhabits space, his feet well clear of ground.
I say he is of light, of midnight snow.

The other lighthouse keeper - he they say
Whose world is round - is held responsible
For manning his one light by night; by day,
For polishing his lenses, bulb and bell.
My man, my friend who lately leaves, is quite
Another type. He climbs no spiral stairs:
But go he does, for good, to man the night;
To reappear, among his polished stars.
