Peter was one of life's gentle men. We hold very happy memories of getting to know Peter and his young family in their Duncan Terrace home in the 1980's. This included the privilege of Linda working in his Kilbirnie electorate office and sharing in his lifelong passion to 'make a difference'.
Praying God's peace and sustaining grace on you Megan and the extended whanau.

Peter was a fantastic Board member for WWF-NZ, thoughtful, insightful and generous with his ideas and time. Our thoughts are with you all.

I worked with Peter at Ernst & Young in Wellington. We worked on some amazing projects together, including flying to Singapore to do a joint presentation with our Singaporean colleagues. He was a great friend and colleague.

My condolences to you all. Peter was a friend and colleague in Parliament for whom I had the greatest respect for his commitment, wisdom and humanity.

Deepest sympathy- my mother Jean worked for Peter in his Miramar electorate and thought very highly of him. Peter officiated at Jeans funeral I also worked with him and found him very very kindly and helpful. My thoughts are with you Megan and family
