To Christine and the Lavas Family.
Sad to read about the passing of Dad, what an incredible age he reached.
My Dad Ivan and Mum Helen Vodanovich originally from Henderson then their remaining years on the Orchard in Te Kauwhata were good friends in their younger years with Dad and Mum, so much as Peter and Ivy were my Godparents that´s how far back their friendship went.but as we know time goes quickly, next thing we are the older generation.
Our deepest sympathy to you all, memories last for ever.

Lavas, Peter James, passed away on March 3rd 2026. Much respected brother and brother-in-law of the late Richard and Louise Lavas, beloved uncle of John Lavas, Karen Vodanovich (nee Lavas) and the late John Vodanovich, and great uncle of Angela and Jonathan and their children. Uncle Peter retained his humorous nature even into his final weeks and we will miss his reminiscences of the old days. Pocivao u miru.
