Peter JOHNS Obituary
JOHNS, Peter Elwyn. Born 12 July 1933, died 13 November 2024. Husband of Janette, father of Andrea Robertson and Peter. Poppa of Caleb Robertson. Eldest son of the late Peter and Florrie Johns. Brother of Tom and Dennis and the late Fay Stevenson and Lois Simons. Brother-in-law of Pat Johns, Rex Stevenson and the late Allen Simons. Peter was a well respected drummer and dance band leader and a consummate fitter and turner. At Peter's specific request no funeral service will be held, but Andrea and Peter will host a party to celebrate Peter's life in the New Year. Thanks to the staff at the Cairnfield Rest Home who have cared for Peter for the last five years. Any communications to [email protected].

On behalf of my brother Reyn Bavister I would like to extend my condolences to Janette and his Family. Reyn worked at his Engineering factory many years ago, and was a very good mate of Pete's.
