IWIKAU, Peter Chanel Joseph (Channey) Passed away peacefully on the 06/08/13 surrounded by his whanau. Beloved husband to Frances, cherished Father to Dorothy, Peter, Joseph, Richard and Luke. Adored Koko to his many mokopuna. Dad we will always love you. Channey will be laying in state at Pukawa Marae, Taupo until his funeral service which will be held at the above mentioned Marae on Saturday 10/08/13 followed by a graveside service at the Kakahi Urupa in Taumarunui. Peter will be sadly missed by all of us who were lucky enough to have worked with him. He was a kind, caring and compassionate man who dedicated his working life to making sure tangata whaiora get the care they need. We will miss you Pete but your legacy will live on.
