Peter HODGE Obituary

Belated deepest sympathy to Peter's family and friends. I've only just heard the news and am deeply saddened and shocked. Peter was my next-door neighbour in Morningside a few years ago and we always had a laugh bumping into each other in the car port or out in the garden. He always helped me lift heavy stuff into my house. The sand from his frequent surfing expeditions still lives on in our car port area. May he be forever catching that big wave. Paula Hendy

Sending deepest & most sincere feelings of profound sorrow & heartache to the Hodge family as many of Peter's peers & their parents from Motueka days grasp & grapple with the dreadful news of his sudden death.
Also being the mum of a 37yr old son myself & more especially the fact that he grew up alongside Peter & enjoyed Sunday-School, Kindergarten & a whole lot more with him, my heart breaks for you Liz ....
As well, being a twin & knowing the emotional bond that naturally brings with it even into adulthood, I send an abundance of love & thoughts to Rachel.
I can still remember very clearly my first day at Kindy with Kerryn & looking out the window to see you sitting there with your two little 'poppets' in their double pushchair & though not having met you yet, I knew exactly who you were! Condolences to Warren & Johnathon at this most dreadful & difficult time,
