Peter HAZELWOOD Obituary

HAZELWOOD, Peter Thomas. 15 April 1961-30 March 2025. Peter was taken from this world suddenly, he is the much-loved partner of Emelyn Maramba (Ellen) and father to his 6 children, Amanda and Cody, Sarah and Ben, Caleb and Jade, Zac and Gemma, William and Seoyoung, Bethany and Aman, and grandad to his 6 moko, Corban, Sienna, Zara, Ella, Carter, Aditya and Zayn. Fly high and fish up in the seas of heaven Dad, we love you. Funeral service will be held at the Yacht Club, Kaiti Beach, Gisborne, 11am on Saturday 5th April. Stonehaven - proudly making a difference

My heartfelt condolences to Peter's family at this very sad time. Peter became one of the family. We grew up in Cobham Place and Peter around the corner in Ferguson Drive lots of special memories back in the day. Our brother Michael who passed away many years ago became the best of friends, like brothers really. My sister Wendy had a lot to do with Peter throughout the years and his children. One thing that will be missed is his smile, it radiated. It seems surreal that he suddenly passed away. Thank you Peter for your love towards us all. Our Mum thought of you as another son. I'm so glad that you got to see her before she passed away. So no doubt your with our Mum and Michael having laughs and catching up on past times. RIp Peter you are going to be sorely missed by us all.
