Peter GRAVIT Obituary

GRAVIT, Peter Murray. On 25.11.2023, aged 83. Beloved son of the late Karl and Jessie (Nelson), brother to the late Valerie, and Maya and Ian. Cherished husband for 60 years of Josephine, his University of Canterbury sweetheart, and fellow teacher, farmer and orchardist. Dad of the late Catherine, and Jonathan, Roanna and Virginia. Grandad of Marcus, Joe, Bruno, Alex, Matt, Catherine and Edward. Father in law to Brian, Jason and Jenny. Dad's wry humour, intellect and excellent conversation are much missed by his whaanau and friends. Rest in peace PMG, and may your beloved music accompany you on your final voyage on heavenly seas beyond the horizon. Our grateful thanks to all who have cared for Dad and us in recent months. In accordance with Dad's wishes, a private family cremation will be followed by a memorial service at TYPBC, details to follow. No flowers by request. Messages to the Gravit family, 3 Treholm Lane, Te Puna, Tauranga.

We are so sorry to hear about Peter. Please accept our sincere condolences and our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. We had such a lovely lunch together in August, a wonderful memory to treasure. Sending you all lots of love both now and in the time ahead. Rest in peace Peter.
