sincere sympathy I have just seen the notice, and would like to add our condolences on behalf of the Thorstensen Family from Gisborne, A couple of years ago I corresponded and sent photos I had of Margaret and my late cousin Marie Burgess (Couper) who were childhood friends living next door in Palmerston Road GS Marie used to visit Mrs G in the GS rest home, until her passing, great memories of this wonderful family, sincere sympathy to Peter's family, Shirley

Peter's notice in the Gisborne Herald brought back memories of his parents and sister Margaret. I attend Holy Trinity, Gisborne so last Sunday I spoke about my memories and highlighted the memorial to Margaret Goodyear and Margaret Hands which is located by the South door in the Church.
