Peter GALT Obituary

GALT, Peter Mervyn. (5 July 1940 - 16 May 2025) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Mervyn Galt of Invercargill on Friday 16th May 2025 at the age of 84. Peter was a loving husband of the late Judi. Much loved father and father-in-law to Tash and Justin, and Simon and Ginna, and cherished Gramps to Sebastian and Cooper. Much loved step- father and step-father-in-law to Carl and Mandy, Gary and Fiona, Amanda, and Carmen. Gramps to Elise, Leif, Olivia, Ava and Luca. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Thursday 22 May at 10am followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to The Rotary Club of Invercargill North would be appreciated and can be made at the service.
