EDWARDS, Peter Bruce. (FENZ, Goldstar). It is with great sadness for those of us left behind, but a relief for him, we announce the passing of Peter at Waikato Hospital on Thursday, 15th January 2026; aged 69 years. Loved husband of Raewyn, Dad to Marie and Murray, Wendy and JP, Shelley and AJ, Kylie, Nikki and Ryan and Steven and Poppa/Poppete of 16, Jamie, Jordyn, Dylan, Liam, Jah, Keisha, Lucian, Lorenzo, Diego, Nirvana, Levi, Kyson, Zenith, Axel, Parker and Emmi and loved skipper of Leading Light. Both a loved family man and community man, he will be sadly missed by everyone. Peter is at Twentymans, 709 Pollen Street, Thames, and may be viewed between 8am and 5pm, Tuesday and Wednesday, 20th and 21st January, please call the home before arriving. He will be at Mangatangi Fire Brigade from 9am to 10am on Thursday 22nd January where everyone is welcome to visit him. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at Crossroads Church, 448 Mangatangi Road, Mangatangi on Thursday 22nd January at 11am, followed by a private interment.

It was deeply saddening to hear of your passing. I really enjoyed getting to know you and your family while doing those cowshed alterations, and we had some great chats, always something positive or interesting to say. One of a kind great guy and known well by the locals. My heart goes out to the family, and I wish the best for Steve keeping the farm running.
