Don and Thelma Hardman

Thelma worked with Peter for a short time when he was in practice with Christopher Ruthe in 1993. We subsequently consulted him regarding family wills. We found Peter to be an excellent person whom we admired. His quiet patient and pleasant personality remains in our memories. We are sorry to know that he passed away and offer our sincere condolences to his family.

My sincere condolences to Peter's family. Peter acted for me in a legal capacity since 1993 and gave impeccable advice and service. Although we moved away from the area in 2013, I still traveled down on occasion to engage his services. Peter was an absolute gentleman and I hold him in the highest esteem. Resting at peace now.

Peter I am deeply saddened by you passing and remember well all the rich contribution you freely gave to South Wellington Intermediate, Staff and students during your time as Chairperson of the Board of trustees.
A Maurice dancer and personality extraordinaire bringing warmth and depth of understanding to any discussion he took part in.
My condolences to the family for your great loss, on behalf of South Wellington Intermediate School and friends.

Dear friend, brought together over the agenda of the first Board of Trustees meeting of Kilbirnie School, our friendship easily renewed and refreshed itself over the following 30 or so years, through each of our personal journeys. The principles of working towards a fairer society and love of life and laughter were the ties that bound. It was great to spend time with you after your operation and share war stories and coffee and have the opportunity to appreciate precious life even more.

Thanks for so much, over so many years, given to me, to members of my family, and to an odd assortment of clients sent in his direction.

Our dear, charismatic friend and advisor for almost 40 years. Peter will be remembered for his huge contribution to Hataitai Playcentre and Kilbirnie School in the 1980s. We will also remember him for his generosity, gentle humour, great wisdom and wonderful singing voice. Sending our heartfelt condolences to Emma, Rachel, Tim and all the family. From Berys and Michael Cuncannon and family.
