Just to say that I feel truly blessed that we had Peter & Larraine as neighbours in New Lynn, I am going to miss Peter's infectious sense of humour and very engaging personality. Caring & helpful also comes to mind even for strangers in his street. Hang on to the many wonderful memories you must have of a very devoted marriage, Larraine.

Uncle Peter, you were the family storyteller. I often thought as a child that you were switched at birth so different from your burly brothers and so neat and tidy. I will never forget starting work and you said to me "if the floor needs sweeping I sweep it. I get paid the same to sweep the floor as I do managing everyone." I have lived by that mantra and I hope that you will be proud to know I've never been out of work and I am a very well paid toilet cleaner now. It won't be the same without you. Love Ann xxx

CROWTHER, Peter (P.C.). Immediate past Chairman and committee member for many years of the Auckland Veteran & Vintage Car Club. Peter's infectious humour, his willingness to do anything asked of him and even more that he would do, just because he could, will endear him into our hearts forever.
