Peter CROWTHER Obituary

Thank you Pete for all the laughs and the pearls of wisdom you shared with me over the years. You are a wonderful man and will be sadly missed by many people.

Just to say that I feel truly blessed that we had Peter & Larraine as neighbours in New Lynn, I am going to miss Peter's infectious sense of humour and very engaging personality. Caring & helpful also comes to mind even for strangers in his street. Hang on to the many wonderful memories you must have of a very devoted marriage, Larraine.

You will be sadly missed by family and friends. Our thoughts are with you all.

Uncle Peter, you were the family storyteller. I often thought as a child that you were switched at birth so different from your burly brothers and so neat and tidy. I will never forget starting work and you said to me "if the floor needs sweeping I sweep it. I get paid the same to sweep the floor as I do managing everyone." I have lived by that mantra and I hope that you will be proud to know I've never been out of work and I am a very well paid toilet cleaner now. It won't be the same without you. Love Ann xxx

CROWTHER, Peter. On May 26th 2013. Dear Pete, we had such a lovely day with you and Larraine on Thursday. You were firing on all cylinders, laughing and reminiscing. You have left how you wanted, quietly and with dignity. We will always remember you. Loved Brother and Brother-in- law of Roy and Margaret. Uncle of David and Paula, Ann and Jon, Grant and Sharon.
