Peter, you were there for me some 20 + years ago to guide me through some business decisions and you have been a fond friend ever since. You gave your time so often to support others, you will always be in my memory as a sincere and thought provoking friend.

To be in Peters company was like coming home to a safe harbour,his warmth and pasiion for life reflected in his numerous deeds of philanthopy. He was interesting and interested puting all who met him at ease.I love you Peter, you had the gift of making people feel better about themselves.

A totara is a huge tree that grows for hundreds of years. For one of them to fall is a great tragedy.

My son and I got to know Peter Crellin this year as he was chosen to be my son's Mentor. He told us about his life growing up and what he done up till now, such an awesome man my son got to know for a few months. Our condolences go out to Peter's family. And a big thank-you to Peter. Our thoughts are with Peter's family. He was my son's mentor through Project K (2014/15). It is a shock to hear he is gone, he was such a wonderful, helpful, caring, energetic and special person. Peter was once my boss, and became my friend and a mentor to me in my personal life and business career for over 40 years. He was one of the wisest men I ever had the privilege of knowing. I had huge respect for his wisdom and integrity. He was trustworthy and empathetic, intelligent and kind, and I thought (hoped) he would live forever
